Trust me – this is photography-related. I go to all sorts of conferences – not just photography conferences. I like going to writer’s conferences. I learn more about storytelling and I try to translate that to photography.
Recently I attended another writer’s conference. The conference featured several very famous authors who gave readings from their published works. They also taught workshops, discussing technique and craft.
There were many similarities between the writer’s workshop and several photography workshops I’ve attended or spoken at.
There was one very big difference. During the question and answer period where the attendees could ask these famous authors any question they like, nobody asked….

You mean those brushes I ordered, same as Leonardo da Vinci used, are not going to make me a world famous painter with legacy for centuries? Man, you are killing me here…

We all know it’s the memory card that makes the difference in beautiful photos. Just don’t drop or shake the card after capture or all your photos will be blurry 😀
