A Quick Thank You – And A Request

It’s only been a few months since I launched this new blog/podcast and I am very gratified by the results.

More than 21,000 photographers have visited this site and they hail from more than 60 countries.

The top ten countries by audience are listed below…

PictureMethods.com

So far, I’ve published 61 posts – and two podcasts. All free-of-charge. I have enjoyed some great interaction with the audience and have already received hundreds of subscribers to the blog who used the SUBSCRIBE TO EMAIL UPDATES button found on every post.

This is frankly, a better response than I expected. It took me several years of fits and starts back at Photofocus to find my groove. I think I must have learned enough there to maybe get a few more things right. But I am not slowing down. I still want to improve so I need two things from you.

  1. Please contact me at scott@picturemethods.com to let me know what else I can do with this site/podcast to help you. All genuine, thoughtful, requests will be considered. I might not be able to give you everything you want, but I will try, particularly if I get the same request from many people.
  2. Please help me spread the word. Please share the www.picturemethods.com blog and podcast with your friends.

I am grateful for those of you who have visited and pledge to do my best to keep delivering quality content to you each and every week.

Thanks!

  1. Since you shoot primarily birds, there’s a good chance that many of your followers also shoot birds. At the Bosque workshop you focused on the direction of the wind, shooting in the direction of your shadow (I followed that advice yesterday), etc. advice on shooting birds is always helpful. Include suggestions for places, too. Thanks!
