I have given away lots of cameras in the past using Twitter or when I ran Photofocus via the Photofocus podcast or blog or even at photo trade shows with various sponsors. Today I am back at it! I am announcing the first official Picture Methods Camera Giveaway. Yes I am giving away a camera – AND a lens – and more! I am excited because it’s more than a camera giveaway. It’s a chance to win other cool prizes too.

The grand prize is a brand new, in the box, Olympus OM-D E-M1 MK II, Micro Four Thirds, digital camera with an Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO Lens.

This is an amazing piece of gear and I spent two full years with it as my primary camera.

The second prize is a brand new, in the box Robus RC-5558 Vantage Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod. I love these Robus tripods because they are as good as any I have used, but more affordable than most similarly specced units.

The first runner up prize is a $250 credit at scottbourne.photos which can be applied to prints or gifts featuring any of my images available in the store.

The second runner up prize is a brand new, in the box Platypod Ultra Plate Camera Support with Multi Accessory Kit. I never go anywhere without my Platypod. One of the most useful photo accessories ever invented.

The winner will be selected by random drawing. That drawing will take place at the Festival of the Cranes in Socorro, NM, November 20-23, 2019. The winner will be randomly selected. My pal, Steve Ball who is an Olympus employee, will be with me in the exhibitor tent at the festival and he will draw the name from a virtual hat, and the entire process will be streamed via Facebook Live. The prize package will arrive at the winner’s home before Christmas. I’ll be streaming via Facebook Live when I take my trip to the UPS Store to drop off the packages to mail to the winners.

Send the Tweet only one time – sending it more than once won’t improve your odds of winning.
