Photo Workshops

Picture Methods Photo Tours and Workshops are held around the world to help you elevate your craft and build your portfolio.

Inspiring locations. When you attend one of our events, you’ll have access to prime photo locations at the right time to put you in the best position to make compelling images. Every step of the way, you’ll work with a published, professional photographer to guide you as much or as little as you prefer.

Small classes. Our class sizes are limited, so you have plenty of access to instructors in the field. You’ll come back from our trips with portfolio-quality photographs—we guarantee it.

Here’s a list of currently scheduled photo tours:

Scott Bourne is available for private workshops and for very small group instruction on a limited basis. Trips can be scheduled anywhere in the USA.

The schedule tends to fill up months in advance, so please plan ahead. Day rates start at $1,500 (can be shared among three or fewer people depending on the location – some trips will allow for only single or double occupancy.) Trips outside the Seattle area require additional first-class travel and expenses for meals, airfare, airport transfers, rental car, etc.

Email scott@picturemethods.com to discuss what you want to accomplish. I will do everything I can to help you succeed.

Public appearances

In addition to the workshops/tours Scott leads, he often speaks at national photography conventions or birding shows.
